PM360, a leading trade magazine for marketing decision makers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and diagnostics industries, honored Semcasting for its Matchback Attribution solution as one of the most innovative products in 2017, part of PM360’s Sixth Annual Innovations Issue, published in December.
Semcasting’s Matchback approach to attribution is based on a deterministic model where every impression served is subject to being matched back to the audience targeted and the purchase made. This process is facilitated by Semcasting data that can identify a medical practice (by specialty) and match back the impressions served in a campaign to anonymous sales at the local pharmacy. The product allows pharma marketers to determine exactly what percentage of their highly targeted, online audience the digital campaigns reached.
The ability to test different digital messages and the exact impact of the campaign with first-party match backs and deterministic attribution limits risk and helps to improve digital return on investment for pharma marketers.
“Pharma marketers have long relied on television advertising to the masses to generate awareness of their products, however with our attribution offering, they are able to actually prove the positive impact that targeted digital advertising has on sales,” said Matthew Hedberg, GM of Professional Services at Semcasting. “Semcasting’s Matchback Attribution is a game changing product for the highly-regulated industry because marketers gain deep insight into what is working to generate demand for their products.”
The magazine’s Annual Innovations issue was established to serve as a guide to the year’s most innovative Companies, Startups, Divisions, Products, Services and Strategies from within the health care and life sciences industries. This comprehensive overview of the year’s most innovative achievements in these six categories helps other companies in the industry to find potential partners and offerings that can help them advance health care and life sciences.
“Each of this year’s selections showcases our industry’s strong desire to constantly find new ways to advance every sector of life sciences from development to marketing to philanthropy and much more,” says Anna Stashower, CEO/Publisher of PM360. “We are excited to showcase these innovative achievements and help get the word out about companies and offerings that help made the job easier for others working in our industry.”
PM360 received hundreds of submissions from across the health care and life sciences industries. The editorial staff of PM360 evaluated each submission and selected their picks for the most innovative, regardless of category. Ultimately, the final selections represent the most exciting innovations from 2017.
