Jessica Ackerson, Driving Success in Media Sales
We are thrilled to announce that Jessica Ackerson has joined us at Semcasting as the new Vice President of Media Sales. In a move set to fortify our media sales strategy, Jessica brings to the table her expertise and a proven track record of success within the industry.
A Strategic Leader with a Vision
Based just outside of Chicago, Illinois, Jessica joins Semcasting with a clear mission: to substantially grow both our portfolio of brand and agency partnerships and our revenue streams. She will lead our efforts to seamlessly weave Semcasting targeting, measurement and identity solutions into the media ad buying strategies of our media agency community and brand direct clients.
To deliver on demand and grow new revenue streams for the company, Jessica will build and lead her own media sales team within Semcasting. Her leadership experience will be invaluable with identifying new media opportunities and ensuring an efficient sales process from start to finish.
Jessica has accumulated 19 years of digital media experience, primarily from the publisher and vendor side of the business. Her experience ranges from account management and client services to sales, sales strategy, and sales leadership. One of her most recent roles was a five-year stint as SVP of National Sales for Sabio Inc, a CTV advertising subsidiary for Sabio Holdings.
Over the past 10 years Jessica has sold first-party data solutions paired with media insights. She has extensive experience leading at all experience levels. Jessica strongly believes that building relationships both internally and externally is the key to ensuring success and plans to use that philosophy as she builds her team here at Semcasting. Her passion for building relationships with others has allowed her to grow a large network of clients and she is looking forward to introducing them to, in her words, “the power of Semcasting!”
Jessica will be representing Semcasting at several industry events throughout the rest of the year, so look out for her onsite.

Everyone’s identity is multifaceted, what are the unique characteristics of who you are?
I am originally an East Coaster who after attending Indiana University, where I got a B.A. in Telecommunications, has been living in the Midwest for most of my adult life. I met my husband at IU and we have 2 children (son Jordan, 11 and daughter Logan, 8). They keep me busy with baseball/basketball games, dance recitals and musical stage performances. We had a puppy join our family during Covid named Frankie and we love to travel and explore the world. I also enjoy being involved on charitable boards and have recently picked back up my tennis game.
What are you most excited about with this new role?
I am excited for the opportunity to dig into AudienceDesigner by Semcasting (ADS) and leverage the sophisticated platform that gets ahead of the vast challenges our industry is facing. I love nothing more than growing a sales team and partnering with them to ensure they are successful and challenging themselves in new ways. I’m excited to watch and be a key driver of the continued growth of Semcasting.
What challenges do you expect to face in the industry with this new role?
It is a crowded marketplace, so we have to work extra hard to break through the clutter and allow our exceptional product and team to shine through.
