An agency representing a leading national dental practice approached Semcasting, looking for a solution to increase brand awareness and yield new patients in multiple markets throughout the U.S. The challenge, however, was that each dental office had a standard practice as well as a specific specialty they wanted to promote (i.e. pediatric dentistry or orthodontics). In addition, there was a geographical footprint to each trade area from which these practices pulled patients.
What this meant was that each practice's location needed a specific predictive model to identify its prime clientele for each practice area, as well as a link between each model and trade area.
Using Semcasting’s patented predictive modeling platform and Smart Zones’ technology, a mobile and display ad solution was constructed based on consumers who scored highly for the services of each practice. Using Smart Zones, the prospective patients were onboarded into neighborhood-level zones within each practice's trade area. Because Smart Zones is not reliant on cookies or any other tracking technology, every prospective patient within five miles of each dental practice trade area was able to have custom-tailored messaging delivered to them.
Thanks to Smart Zones, this national dental practice was able to target their audience with no use of cookies, inferred data or tracking, enabling them to reach nearly 100 percent of their qualified prospective patients across any device. The end result was 950 new patient acquisitions for eight locations over the course of 11 months.
