Semcasting, the pioneer in cookieless targeting and identity graph solutions, today announced the appointment of Christy Ercolino as its new vice president of sales on the west coast.
Based in San Francisco, Christy will work closely with agencies and brands on the west coast to address their pain points with both Semcasting’s managed services and its self-serve platform AudienceDesigner by Semcasting (ADS). She will work hand-in-hand with Semcasting clients to deliver on their identity resolution and audience design needs to achieve campaign goals.
Christy joins the team at a time of exponential growth for the company as it expands its team to support the growing demand for cookie-free identity solutions.
Christy has extensive leadership experience directing teams to exceed their target goals and boost overall growth. She has shown innovative thinking and strategic execution throughout her career which has included roles such as Chief Revenue Officer at Stanmore Media Group, Senior Sales Director at SITO Mobile, Country Manager - North America at Lifesight and more.

Get to know a little bit more about Christy and what she brings to our team:
How did you get started in the advertising/marketing/data industry?
I was a Journalism major at San Francisco State University and actually began my career in broadcast television news. During that time a college friend referred me to an adtech role and I’ve never looked back!
Everyone’s identity is multifaceted, what are the unique characteristics of who you are?
I am a people person, but I also enjoy technology. I’ve stayed connected to previous and current clients throughout my career because I love to go beyond the sale, and deep dive with my contacts from a technical support perspective.
What has been the most exciting innovation in data/identity/measurement during your career?
I’m still fascinated by the insights we can glean from mobile devices. We can not only identify someone in a privacy-safe way from their mobile device, but also gain an understanding of their day-to-day habits and interests. This is incredibly powerful in understanding consumers’ purchase journeys.
What are some major challenges that you and the industry face today?
It's a very competitive industry with lots of companies saying they do the same thing and competing for the same business. You have to have an offering that sets you apart from the rest, which Semcasting does.
Semcasting’s data onboarding match rates are 2- 3 times better than the industry average. In one self-serve platform, ADS offers onboarding, audience design, insights, omnichannel activation, and attribution - allowing marketers to activate segments in minutes versus the days or months expected from other providers.
