Campaigns Must Go Mobile for Optimal Reach and Engagement

As campaigns move toward the home stretch, more and more resources are being allocated to get out the vote efforts. The standard formula—door-to-door, phone banking, and targeted TV media—still remains the core effort, but their cost effectiveness is waning.

Between “caller ID,” fewer land-lines, the challenges of door-knocking urban voters, and so much time spent out of the home, it is more difficult than ever to reach voters. It is critical for campaigns apply complementary tactics such as robust digital and mobile outreach.
